Fliers

These are recent examples of art that I have made.

It appears that my art has two separate, and, as of yet, irreconciled modes: a Classical approach and an experimental approach.

The first set of images exemplify my interest in depicting the human figure. Originally, this interest was rooted in an admiration of manga, comics and animation, but has since expanded to other pursuits such as anatomy and art history and the human form itself has become one of these academic pursuits.

The second set are exemplary of a more technical process and conceptual approach to image making, in this instance trying to replicate celestial imagery in collage.

The third set is composed of fliers that I had made for DePaul University's Japanese Media Appreciation Club.
