I, Eric T Cormack, am an artist, theorist, aesthete and student living in Chicago, Illinois. I am currently finishing a dual degree, a B.A. in Art with a concentration in painting and a B.S. in Physics with a minor in Math.

Aesthetically, my tastes tend towards Classicism. In painting, this exhibits itself as an interest in works from the High Renaissance, through the Baroque and Neoclassical, and into the Pre-Raphaelite. This tendency also shows up in my creative exploits, such as composing poetry in iambic pentameter, drawing the human figure, and utilizing Ciceronian rhetorical devices within my prose, the use of particular colors in any visual media, to give name to a few.

Intellectually, being a nerd, my tastes run the gamut. They include, but are not limited, any in the following list: art, history, zoology, philosophy, cosmology, science fiction, comics, baking, Japanese and Classical Roman culture.
